About 100 years ago Carl Cloos founded a company for the production of acetylene gas generators & oxyacetylene welding torches in Siegen-Weidenau, Germany. Since 1924 the headquarters of the long-established company have been situated in Haiger. Today CLOOS develops, manufactures and delivers innovative solutions to more than 40 countries across the globe. Major game changer and upgrade to its flagship products happened in 2017, with introduction of innovative products in all areas of arc welding technologies, which came forward as, MoTion Weld (controlled short arc with reversing wire drive unit), QINEO NexT (new generation of inverter welding power sources), QIROX QRC-290 (compact welding robot for the entry into automated welding), and QWP & QTI (completely revised operating module for the QIROX robots).
