Weiler Werkzeugmaschinen at that time located in Herzogenaurach, Germany, Gedee Weiler was incorporated in 1966, to manufacture sophisticated high precision lathes in India and went on to add automats and special purpose machines for watch case machining and hydraulic copying lathes in the years to follow. Recognizing the need to offer a choice of live tool turrets, controllers, a bit of customization, and strong application support, as a solution provider for turn-mill applications the organization is focusing on expanding the scope of turn-mill machines to provide Y-axis and sub spindles, further focusing on developing specific configuration of machines that cater to a particular family of parts in mass volume production to achieve maximum productivity at the least cost per piece. A major expansion of the company has taken place in the sales, service, and dealer network all through India in addition to setting up a tech center in Faridabad in the year 2017 and corporate tech center in Coimbatore headquarters in 2018.
