BattRE’s R&D Recognized by DSIR for E-Mobility Innovation

BattREElectric Mobility Pvt Ltd (BattRE), a leading e-mobility company focused on providing sustainable and performance-rich commute experiences, recently announced that its in-house R&D unit has been accorded government recognition under the certification TU/IV-RD/4916/2023 by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology (Government of India). The recognition of the company’s R&D center in Jaipur, Rajasthan, affirms the company’s commitment to provide the safest and most efficient electric vehicles to its riders across the country.

The in-house R&D center is the heart of the company’s innovation. The center, which started in 2020, has already received 20 patents, which includes 12 patents for its Electric scooters and 8 patents for its upcoming Motorcycles. The R&D center focuses on Designing and Sketching, Building Prototypes, Market Research, Vehicle Testing and Validation, 3D Modeling, and Structural Analysis.  The company has several upcoming products in the pipeline.

The company is on its journey to improve its effectiveness and performance in the EV manufacturing space and bring innovative solutions to the market. With this recognition, the company has become one of the select few organizations to receive this certification in India. The Ministry of Science & Technology periodically assesses various companies in India to qualify and recognize their R&D units. This certification has one of the most stringent safety and performance standards for electric two-wheelers in India under the guidelines of DSIR.
