FIBRO FCC Aerial Cam Unit Series for Modern Die-making Processes

Standard parts and rotary tables manufacturer, Fischer-Brodbeck GmbH (FIBRO), introduced improved assembly and installation for its FCC Aerial Cam Unit Series 2016.24. It enables the cam slider to be removed from the rear simplifying the assembly process. On the 150mm – 600mm wide cams the new design allows for the cam units to be placed much closer together opening more die space for other processes or decreasing the overall size of the die.

The FIBRO Cam Unit FCC 2016.24 features compact dimensions, high forces in the working and return strokes and excellent precision, even after a high number of cycles. Other significant design features include, double prism guide, sliding surfaces hardened steel / bronze with solid lubricant, positive locking connections, and are available in the widths from 60-600 mm with the angular variants 0°-75° (gradation 5°). All the sliding elements are shouldered, and without removing the cam, the gas spring can be replaced.

Due to its design, the Cam Unit Series meets the BAK product specification, the NAAMS, and minimum maintenance requirements. The FIBRO Cam Unit FCC can be designed ex works with customer-specific tool-specific machining, which meets even the highest requirements of modern die-making processes.
