IndoSpace, India’s largest developer and manager of Grade A industrial real estate, together with Magic Bus India Foundation, saw the first cohort of 52 women from rural Maharashtra graduate from the Young Women Fellowship Programme (YWFP), jointly run by both entities. These women were selected from areas around Chakan and Khopoli in Maharashtra, where Indospace operates two large logistic parks. The Young Women Fellowship Programme at IndoSpace aims to equip every woman from the selected cohort with life skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and leadership skills necessary to become self-reliant and change agents for their communities. 

This comprehensive program was marked by a rigorous candidate screening, identification, and enrollment process. It included extensive training modules, exposure visits, personality enhancement, a business acumen skills workshop, and mentoring sessions. Participants engaged in practical tasks, and the program culminated with the implementation of several community leadership projects and new business setups. The graduating young women were felicitated by the management of IndoSpace and provided with certificates and business kits.
