The 16th edition of the biennial exhibition, ENGIMACH, India’s second-largest engineering, machine tools, and automation exhibition, held from December 6-10, 2023, at Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, saw the gathering of modern innovations in manufacturing technologies. Organized by K and D Communication Ltd, the grand event spanned a vast 72,000 sq mt exhibition area spread across 12 central air-conditioned halls, covering varied industries like woodwork, casting, forging, IT, etc.

ENGIMACH 2023 proved to be a valuable opportunity for LMW to engage with customers from Gujarat. “The 16th edition of the show saw significant footfalls at our booth, with approximately 1,200 visitors,” shared Bhattacharya. “We not only connected with visitors from Ahmedabad but also addressed the needs of customers from Baroda, Rajkot, Jamnagar, and other Saurashtra regions during this event.”

Customer Dynamics

The ratio of potential customers to existing ones at the LMW stall was balanced. He stated, “Given the year-on-year growth in industrial areas in Gujarat and the continuous influx of new prospects, our objective is to cater to the needs of every potential customer with our products and solutions.” The diverse customer base—according to him—includes industries such as Die & Mold, Medical Machining, Fittings, General Engineering, and Automobile.

Machines in Spotlight

The company showcased four key machines, namely Smart Minimaster, JD, Gigaturn, and J2 Vertical Machining, at ENGIMACH 2023. “Smart Minimaster is designed for small parts manufacturing, JD for Die & Mold and Auto, and Gigaturn for the Automobile and Oil & Gas industries, and J2 Vertical Machining Center is highly versatile and caters to major industries,” elaborated Bhattacharya.

In addition to these machines, the company boasts a comprehensive range of 55 products and 88 variants, meeting the diverse requirements of various industries. He further said, “The positive response extended beyond the exhibits, with a substantial number of inquiries received for our machines.”

The response from ENGIMACH 2023 exceeded expectations for LMW, resulting in a surge in business opportunities. High-quality leads, valuable prospects, and a considerable number of orders were secured during the event, setting a new benchmark in business performance, noted ecstatic Bhattacharya.
