Tezmaksan, a specialized CNC automation systems manufacturer, has achieved the ISO/IEC 17025 calibration laboratory accreditation at its Sivas factory in Anatolia, Turkey. The accreditation, awarded by the National Accreditation Centre (NAC), reflects Tezmaksan’s ongoing commitment to precision, measurement excellence, and adherence to the highest international standards in its calibration and processes.
ISO/IEC 17025 is the internationally recognized standard for the competence of calibration and testing laboratories. It sets out rigorous requirements for laboratory management, technical procedures, equipment calibration, and staff qualifications, so that testing and measurement results are accurate, reliable, and consistent. The accreditation ensures that laboratories operate competently and generate valid results, thereby promoting confidence in their calibration certificates. Through its accredited Sivas laboratory, Tezmaksan can also support industrial facilities in the domestic market and nearby regions by providing the accredited calibration services they require to meet regulatory and operational standards.
Achieving this accreditation confirms that Tezmaksan’s Sivas laboratory meets these stringent standards, giving customers confidence in the precision and quality of its CNC automation systems. This recognition is crucial in high-precision industries, where even small measurement errors can affect product performance, operational efficiency, and international competitiveness.
“Our ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation demonstrates that our laboratory meets the highest international standards, reflecting our commitment to precision and quality for customers worldwide,” said Hakan Aydoğdu, CEO, Tezmaksan. “We continue to create value for the industry through continuous innovation in precision machining and automation technologies, a robust and integrated engineering infrastructure, and processes that comply with and advance global standards.”
The accreditation is the latest development at Tezmaksan’s Sivas facility, which has become a focal point of the company’s expansion strategy. Since its inauguration in 2024, the factory has been central to Tezmaksan’s goal of creating a fully integrated production hub. Spanning 10,000 sq mts, it is designed to accommodate both current operations and future growth.
In 2026, Tezmaksan will relocate its entire production line from Istanbul to Sivas, significantly boosting its capacity and taking full advantage of the region’s incentive zone status. To date, €15 million has been invested in the Sivas facility, with an additional €20 million earmarked for further expansion.
In addition, Tezmaksan has further invested in its own CNC machine tools, integrating them with automation systems to establish a fully optimized and complementary production setup. While the Sivas facility has become the heart of manufacturing, Istanbul will continue to operate as the company’s dedicated R&D and design center, ensuring ongoing innovation and product development.
“Our production base in Sivas will not only drive technological innovation but also strengthen Anatolia’s industrial and economic potential,” continued Aydoğdu. “This strategic move allows us to increase production capacity, enhance competitiveness in the global market, and expand our footprint to 40 countries, while our Istanbul center remains focused on R&D and design operations.”
With ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in place, the Sivas laboratory will support Tezmaksan’s mission to deliver world-class precision, reliability, and quality. The expansion and relocation plans underscore the company’s commitment to enhancing productivity, strengthening its European and global market presence, and contributing to regional employment and economic growth.
