Fluke Corporation announced the launch of a new local manufacturing initiative in India, marking an important milestone in expanding its manufacturing capability within the country and reinforcing its long-term commitment to the market. The initiative aligns with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ program and reflects Fluke’s ambition to deepen its contribution to the country’s growing industrial ecosystem.

Anchored in ‘Proudly Progressing with India’, Fluke’s broader vision reflects its commitment to India’s industrial growth and transformation; the initiative marks a step forward in the company’s efforts to deepen its participation in the Indian market. By building manufacturing capabilities in India, Fluke aims to strengthen its engagement with the customers, industries, and technical professionals it serves, while contributing to the country’s evolving industrial ecosystem.

As India advances across manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, and technology, the need for precision measurement, safety, and reliability continues to grow. Through this initiative, Fluke aims to build manufacturing capabilities closer to the market, aligning its operations with the evolving needs of India’s industrial sector while maintaining its global standards of quality, reliability, and precision.

Commenting on the launch, Parker Burke, President, Fluke Corporation, said, “India is an increasingly important market for Fluke, and our progression from Class-II to Class-I Local Supplier status marks a significant milestone in our journey. We are proud to be at the forefront of investment in India’s growing industrial market, building on the strength of our local team and increasing our manufacturing presence. This investment aligns with our global strategy of investing in the countries where our customers live and work, reinforcing our long-term commitment to the country.”

The first phase of the initiative introduces manufacturing capability in India associated with the Fluke 115 and Fluke 117 digital multimeters. A key milestone is the local manufacture of the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), a critical electronic assembly within these products. The development marks the initial step in Fluke’s broader efforts to expand local manufacturing capabilities and strengthen its participation in India’s industrial ecosystem.

Jaison Isaac, Managing Director, Fluke India, said, “We are seeing firsthand the pace of India’s industrial growth and the increasing demand for precision and reliability. This investment reflects our confidence in the Indian market and our commitment to building local capabilities that support its long-term industrial ambitions.”

He continued, “Aligned with the objective of the Government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, this milestone marks an important milestone in Fluke’s journey, from serving the Indian market to building manufacturing capabilities within it. This is a proud moment for our team, customers, and partners who have helped us reach this point. It marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we deepen our roots in India and contribute to the country’s industrial future.”

The initiative aligns with India’s broader focus on strengthening domestic manufacturing and building industrial capabilities. For Fluke, the first phase establishes a foundation for local manufacturing while reinforcing the role of precision measurement and reliable testing solutions in supporting industrial operations.
