German Digital Delegation in India for the Water Sector

Together with the German Water Partnership, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) is organizing a digital business delegation to India for German companies. Focusing on water sector the virtual event is scheduled to take place from October 5-9, 2020. The delegation is part of the Foreign Market Entry Programme supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Indian Water Works Association. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic the project will be implemented in a digital format.

The delegation agenda starts on October 6, 2020, with an online conference titled ‘German Technology Day’. The program will include online information events in which the German companies will be showcasing the products and technologies that the Indian water industry might benefit from.

Fraunhofer IGB, aqua & waste International GmbH, and Ingenieurbüro Düffel, will speak on Planning, Consulting, and Research. Cerafiltec Germany GmbH, Enexio Water Technologies GmbH, and Kuhn GmbH will discuss on the Components for Efficient (Waste) Water Treatment. Binder GmbH, JUMO GmbH & Co KG, Nivus GmbH, and Phoenix Contact will address the areas of Automation & Instrumentation in the water sector.

The ten participating companies are interested in establishing a local network and expanding their business activities in the Indian market and are looking for business co-operations with Indian companies. The digital delegation project aims to provide an opportunity to German companies to connect with stakeholders of the Indian water sector ecosystem. In addition, the individual meetings with the Indian companies will be conducted online from October 7-9, 2020.
