The journey began in Sandviken, Sweden, in 1901, with the manufacture of the world’s first bendable steel belt, an innovation that would revolutionize industrial processes and establish a legacy of technical leadership that continues to this day. From this pioneering moment, the company has consistently pushed boundaries, introducing breakthroughs such as the world’s first stainless steel belt in 1931, the first double-belt press in 1966, and the Rotoform in 1980.
