Maiden EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Summit 2020

The first EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Summit, provided a new digital meeting place for the international sheet metal working community online from October 27-30, 2020, impacted by the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. The Summit was a four-day online trading, virtual networking, and webinar event for professionals from the entire sheet metal working technology chain. Similar to a live event there were options for visitors to get in touch with exhibitors, for instance dropping their business card at the virtual stand, pre-book meetings options with exhibitors or to instantly contact exhibitors while browsing the virtual booth.

The latest innovations were presented in the Virtual Presentation Theatre by selected EuroBLECH exhibitors. These 15-minute presentations demonstrated exhibitors latest product innovations and technologies, followed by a live Q&A session. The participating companies presenting their latest developments were Bystronic Laser, Lantek, Lumentum, Mazak, Prima Power, Salvagnini and TRUMPF Group. In addition, a Virtual Product Showcase created a virtual stand experience and allowed visitors to explore new products and services of EuroBLECH exhibitors in more detail. 

A daily programme of webinars included eight sessions, each accompanied by a live Q&A session with industry experts, provided an invaluable insight into the latest market developments as well as technical expertise concerning new industry applications and solutions. Key players from the industry as well as trade bodies provided exclusive insights into the latest technologies and case studies on subjects such as Digitalization, Forming and Separation Technology, Automation and Process Optimization.
