PennWhite Ltd, a Middlewich (UK)-based leading manufacturer of antifoam chemistry under the FoamDoctor® brand, which is sold in more than 50 countries, announced that it has appointed Tobias Tasche as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 24, 2023.

A wide range of other specialty chemicals are also manufactured to service the needs of long-term customers in a wide range of applications, like food and food processing, wastewater treatment, upstream and downstream oil, and increasingly in the coatings and adhesives industry. The company was recently bought by Manali Petrochemicals Ltd (MPL), India’s only integrated manufacturer of polyols and a part of AM International, Singapore.

Tobias Tasche, a British/Dutch dual national, joins PennWhite with 25 years of experience in the downstream oil products and specialty chemicals sectors. Tobias previously worked for Shell International, Gulf Oil International, and more recently for SIP Speciality Oils and Fluids, a specialist chemicals distributor in London (UK). He has rich industry experience and expertise in General Management, Supply Chain, and Operations. Earlier experiences spanned product development, technical services, product management, and business development. Tobias has lived and worked in various locations in Europe, Africa, and Asia, and will be based at PennWhite’s manufacturing location in the UK.
