

Schaeffler India Resumes Operations at Savli plant

Leading industrial and automotive supplier, Schaeffler India Pvt Ltd has announced the resumption of operations in Savli Plant at Vadodara. The plant is situated in GIDC Park and has resumed its operations after Government approval and following all safety norms directed by the MHA. Operations in Savli plant started with two shifts with 30 percent attendance in each shift maintaining social distancing norms.
Partial movements of goods have started from warehouses in Vadodara and Chennai following strict safety protocols. Under the instructions of the Government, Schaeffler extended the closure of plants across Talegaon, Maneja, and Hosur up to May 03, 2020. All the branch offices and corporate offices are to be remained shut and employees are expected to work from home. The company has developed a detailed operating procedure to ensure safety and hygiene across plants and offices. These policies will remain in place till further notice.
