SMF 2020 Conference on Sheet Metal Forming Scheduled for Dec 18-19, 2020

The SMF 2020 Conference on Sheet Metal Forming is scheduled for December 18-19, 2020 as an online event. The biennial conference on ‘Current Trends in Sheet Metal Forming’ is organized by Sheet Metal Forming Research Association (SMFRA), in association with Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT).

It aims to present the latest developments and trends pertaining to sheet metal forming in the areas such as Sheet materials, Advanced forming technologies, Mechanics, Industry 4.0 and data driven modelling for sheet forming, Formability, Die design & Software, Forming equipment, and E-mobility.

First day session starts with an inauguration and A. RasquinhaMemorial Keynote Lecture followed by a conference. The two-day conferences/sessions are timed from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The presentations will be made by experts from various industries, R&D labs and academia across the globe as well as lead the deliberations. Leading sheet metal technology manufacturers will discuss/display the latest equipment and technologies. The SMF conference series typically involves a combination of industrial case studies along with academic research presentations, which is a key feature of the event.
