AW 2025 to Host Largest-Ever Smart Factory and Automation Showcase at COEX, South Korea

AW 2025, Asia’s leading Smart Factory and Automation Expo, will be held at the COEX venue in South Korea on the largest scale ever in history. Under the theme ‘Automation to Autonomy’, Korea’s most renowned industry fair will take place from March 12-14, in all halls of COEX, showcasing state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and solutions related to factory automation, big data, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and industrial robots.

With more than 400 exhibitors and 2,200 booths, the show is the largest ever held and is expected to draw around 70,000 attendees. Global automation suppliers, including Rockwell, Schneider Electric, and HD Hyundai Robotics, will highlight the show by demoing their latest innovation. Hyundai AutoEver & Hyundai Glovis, Hyundai Motor Group’s key suppliers, make their debut at the exhibition with smart logistics solutions and autonomous vehicles.

In addition, attendees can broaden their insights by joining a series of concurrent events: More than 25 manufacturing seminars with 150 sessions, such as AI Autonomous Manufacturing Conference, Korea-China-Vietnam Robot Convergence Technology Conference, and IIoT Innovation Day, are scheduled during the exhibition period.

‘AW Booth Docent Tour’ is waiting for a group of attendees to have more informative experiences on site while listening to experts’ explanations. ‘AW Open Innovation Round’ will be newly introduced to provide business collaboration opportunities between trailblazing startups and large/mid-sized investors.

Lee Dong-gi, President, COEX, stated, “AW 2025 is truly the one time of year where everyone who’s anyone, in the world of digital manufacturing, comes together under one roof. We hope this show could serve as a prime opportunity for both exhibitors and buyers to drive digital transformation together in the field of manufacturing.”
