

DRDO's ‘Dare to Dream 2.0’ Tech Contest for Individuals & Start-ups

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) launched an innovation contest ‘Dare to Dream 2.0’ to commemorate the 5th death anniversary of the 'People's President’ and noted scientist Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
The former President is also known as the missile man and had the vision of self-reliance. Along the comparable lines just as after Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' the scheme was introduced.
For emerging technologies to promote the individuals and start-ups for innovation in defence and aerospace technologies in the country. The winners to be awarded a lump sum of ₹10 lakh for start-up and ₹5 lakh to individual category, decided after due evaluation by an expert committee.
Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister, Government of India, has expressed his happiness to announce the challenge for the ‘Ignited Minds’, regardless of whether innovators or start-ups.
