The 26th International sheet metal working technology exhibition, EuroBLECH will now be held from March 9-12, 2021 in Hanover Germany, followed by EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Summit in October 27-30, 2020 due to coronavirus pandemic.
According to Nicola Hamann, Managing Director of Mack Brooks Exhibitions, the past months have been challenging for the sheet metal working industry and its related industry sectors.
There has been decrease in orders of capital goods and many companies are facing challenges in dealing with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. In this backdrop EuroBLECH is postponed to Spring 2021.
This postponement was decided after extensive conversations with exhibitors and partners over recent occasions, owing to the vulnerabilities and travel restrictions, a concern to many participants.
A need for the industry recuperation, calls to network and conduct business, has driven the exhibitor to offer a virtual hub for the global sheet metal working industry in October, a Digital Innovation Summit is to take place in the planned event slot. The digital platform for the participating exhibits will showcase the latest machines and solutions along with virtual meetings with international visitors, thus paving a new way towards recovery.
