GLOBAL INDUSTRIE 2024: Uniting Industry for Transformation

GLOBAL INDUSTRIE, the largest industrial exhibition in France, wishes to provide companies with concrete solutions by engaging with them and bringing together and uniting the whole of industry, its entire ecosystem, its value chain, and its user markets, from March 25-28, 2024, at Paris Nord Villepinte, as a symbol of reindustrialization. Over a period of four days, the event will respond to the multiple challenges facing industry (the environmental and ecological transition, recruitment, social and societal responsibility training, financing, Industry 5.0, etc.) to ensure that France remains a land of investment and innovation.

GLOBAL INDUSTRIE is a center-stage event taking place under the high patronage of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and echoes the various institutional measures taken to promote industry in terms of carbon reduction, job attractiveness, investment, etc. The importance of this event is also illustrated by the presence of various ministers and elected representatives at the 2024 edition, including the Minister Delegate for Industry. In addition, this sixth edition will benefit from the renewed presidency of Nicolas Dufourcq, CEO, Bpifrance. He stated, “We have never seen such an upsurge in industrial projects. That is why GLOBAL INDUSTRIE, of which I have agreed to be President, is fundamentally important. Because it is the event where meetings that change the lives of companies take place.”

A showcase for French regions and know-how, the event will host 2,300 exhibitors spread across 15 sectors, all of whom can be contacted to develop businesses and create new synergies with investors or suppliers in order to build tomorrow’s industry. Demonstrations and experiments will be at the heart of the biggest factory in France, with more than 1,500 machines that will allow visitors to understand cutting-edge innovations and industrial processes. This will also be an opportunity for them to identify the trends and signals that will transform tomorrow’s industry. The GI Awards, for their part, will highlight the most innovative discoveries identified among exhibitors. “GLOBAL INDUSTRIE is proud to support the whole industrial community in a Paris edition held under the banner of unity, reconquest, and setting up new challenges,” commented Sébastien Gillet, Director, Global Industrie.

The issues of training, employment, and feminization of industry remain central to reindustrialization and its sustainability. GLOBAL INDUSTRIE will present a number of activities and facilities designed to ‘make industry attractive’ for this young generation, who will become the future talents of industry. GI Avenir and the Golden Tech, the competition for industrial excellence, will be the tools used to make jobs attractive and meet recruitment needs. More than 5,000 young people and job seekers are expected at this 2024 edition. “To allow industry to return to center stage, we really need to put our industrial heroes and heroines back in the spotlight,” stressed Roland Lescure, French Minister Delegate for Industry.

Numerous discussion areas will provide opportunities for information, exchange, and technological monitoring on the themes of tomorrow’s industry. The Big Stage will address key industrial themes, while the pitch areas (in the Golden Tech and Avenir areas and the different villages) will offer first-hand accounts, feedback, and presentations of new technologies. “Global Industrie is an essential annual meeting point where people come to do things, show things, and commit themselves to a common project: industry,” added Gillet.
