Optimate GmbH, a start-up company focused on digitizing knowledge related to sheet metal processing using AI and TRUMPF, the leader in sheet metal processing, as its parent company, has named Sebastian Beger as the new Chief Sales Officer (CSO). He will be responsible for sales as a member of the management board, and his role is to help launch digital solutions for sheet metal design more broadly on the market and to build up the customer base worldwide.

Beger has previous experience working as a sales manager for Asia at Osterburken-based AZO GmbH and as Head of Marketing and Sales at a Munich-based start-up in the e-mobility field. At the end of 2022, the opportunity arose to join the TRUMPF subsidiary as Chief Sales Officer to drive forward digitization in part design.

In light of this, Beger commented, “I was immediately very enthusiastic about the vision. Everything just fits! I know how stressful it can be for mechanical engineers and how little time there is for optimization. And that's exactly why our digital solution is so important.”
