GP JOULE shows how a sustainable transformation towards 100 percent renewable energy works for everyone, at Hannover Messe, the place where industrial transformations begin. From April 17–21, visitors can discover Stand D45 in Hall 12 and find out how the company supplies companies, communities, and entire regions with electricity, heat, mobility, and hydrogen—sustainably and safely.
“Transforming the energy supply, especially for industry, is not only urgent from a climate policy perspective but also from an economic one: Supplying electricity, heat, mobility, and hydrogen from renewable sources secures our supply in the long term, ensures that prices are stable and we remain independent,” says Ove Petersen, CEO and Co-founder, GP JOULE. “To achieve this, we have to expand renewable energy and adjust consumption. We are pursuing this path together with companies, communities, and the mobility and logistics industry. Because achieving this goal is really worth it—both for consumers and for protecting the climate,” he further states.
As an integrated energy supplier active in all parts of the energy value chain, the company brings together the generation, conversion, distribution, and use of renewable energy. The company advises, finances, projects, builds, and provides the services that are needed. It produces and markets wind and solar power, green hydrogen, and heat. And with its solutions, it brings energy where it is most effective: to electric and hydrogen mobility, to households, and to industry.
At their stand D45 in hall 12, GP JOULE demonstrates how they leverage the energy potential of companies and communities to ensure a reliable and stable-priced supply of energy. Visitors can learn about their innovative energy concepts and cross-sector linkage projects, such as eFarm, a hydrogen mobility project that won the German Mobility Award. This project established a completely CO2-free hydrogen ecosystem, from green hydrogen production to filling stations and hydrogen buses in local public transport.
Visitors can also discover GP JOULE’s other projects, including the 300-megawatt solar park at the Lusatia Energy Park that supplies electricity for households, businesses, and for producing green hydrogen. In addition, they can learn about Pioneer Park Hanau, where the company has developed and implemented a sustainable mobility concept. Another project visitors can explore is the Donauried energy park, which supplies Airbus Helicopters with photovoltaic power via a direct power line and a power purchase agreement (PPA).
GP JOULE believes in an energy system that relies 100 percent on renewable energy, and visitors can experience this future energy system firsthand at their stand. The company explains that Germany and Europe have enough land surface to generate sufficient energy from wind and solar power and that the technology is available to integrate renewables into the energy system and decarbonize all sectors. By generating renewable energy on the spot, businesses, industry, and households can be supplied sustainably and in the long-term.
At the Hannover trade fair, GP JOULE offers visitors the opportunity to experience climate-neutral mobility by test driving their hydrogen buses. The fuel cell buses, which will be used as shuttle buses during the fair, generate zero emissions and allow visitors to travel between exhibition halls without producing any CO2.
