New TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Motorcycle with Intelligent Features

TVS Motor Company launched the new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V (dual-channel ABS) motorcycle with first-in-segment features. It includes three ride modes namely Sport, Urban and Rain for an adaptable ride experience, in addition to adjustable front/rear suspension and brake/clutch lever, reduction in motorcycle’s weight, and a refined brake system to deliver a sharper and improved brake performance. The new motorcycle is available in three colours, Gloss Black, Pearl White and Matte Blue (inspired by the TVS OMC race bike), and is priced at ₹ 1,31,050 (ex-showroom Delhi).

This intelligent ride modes system enables riders to shift between ride modes on the fly, using the ride mode switch on the handlebar. The ‘Urban Mode’ accounts for the engine power delivery tailored to deliver optimum power and control to tame the urban jungle, with the ABS optimized for a quick response. The ‘Rain Mode’ primes the ABS to deliver the maximum response with a strong lever pulsation feel, keeping the rider in control of the vehicle in wet road condition. The ‘Sport Mode’ provides for maximum power and sharp acceleration to take on the track or the highway.

The motorcycle’s adjustable suspension is powered by all new high-performance Showa front suspension which comes with a preloaded adjustment that allows the rider to choose between a plush ride or track ride, while the new Showa rear suspension is tuned for an enhanced track performance. Its adjustable brakes and clutch levers comes with a three step ergonomically designed adjustment and cover 5-95 percentile of riders.
