SICK AG’s New Executive Board Structure to Improve Digitalization

Industrial sensor-based applications solutions provider, SICK AG has expanded its Executive Board with Feng Jiao appointed to the committee with responsibility for the Sales & Service portfolio. The newly created Products & Marketing portfolio is taken over by Dr Mats Gökstorp, formerly responsible for Sales & Service. This decision sets the Supervisory Board of the company in course for continuing growth in the rapidly changing sensor technology and market circumstances.

 Dr Robert Bauer, Chairman, Executive Board, SICK AG, will continue to concentrate on the topic area of Technology & Digitalization while continuing to expand the group’s innovative strength. The portfolio responsibilities of Dr Martin Krämer, HR & Legal; Markus Vatter, Controlling, Finance & IT; Dr Tosja Zywietz, Operations, remains the same.

Feng Jiao

Feng Jiao has led the SICK Group’s business activities in China since 2014 and has been responsible for the company's sustained development in the Chinese market. In his function as Executive Board member with the new portfolio he will be responsible for the group’s sales in all markets and regions, as well as open new opportunities for growth for the company around the world, especially in America and Asia.

 

Dr Mats Gökstorp

Dr Mats Gökstorp, taking over the newly created portfolio will consolidate all the functions necessary for the market-side implementation of digitalization. His task within the new Executive Board structure will be to reinforce the links between products, sales, and customers, as well as drive forward company's development into a complete solutions supplier.
